1 Yonge Condos, by Pinnacle International, is scheduled for occupancy in 2021 and has several aspects. The site itself is bordered by Yonge Street to the west, Freeland Street to the east, Queen’s Quay to the south and Lakeshore Boulevard to the north. The south block, has long been home to the iconic media hub, the Toronto Star building. This building, which stands 25-storeys, is slated to remain, but be connected to an entirely new 35-storey office building. On the east side of the block a 22-storey commercial building is proposed , stepping down to a six storey podium.
