Farm located in Italy, Tuscany, Chiusi della Verna, near the town of Bibbiena, in the province of Arezzo. Our property has a beautiful view of the Sanctuary of La Verna, known for being the place where St. Francis received the holy stigmata in 1224. The property is spread over an area of 270 hectares and has a special license for the exercise of hunting all year (even if it is not currently used). Currently the main activities are those of horse breeding and production of wood (potential of 18 thousand tons annually). Inside the farm, there is a lake fed by underground springs that always guarantees a good water supply even in seasons of low rainfall. In 2005 major maintenance activities were carried out including the renovation of 13 km of new fencing and the restoration of internal roads for a smoother road.
Within the property are included in two distinct areas, a total of 12 buildings (even within some already rebuilt) for a total of about 3500 square meters, including two churches, one of which is still consecrated and used occasionally from the property. In this compendium estate to local tradition, supported by recent studies and articles, find the birth of Michelangelo Buonarroti.
