She was recently invited to join the 2018 CCIM Presidential Advisory Group, where the small team of 9 will help to shape the future of Commercial Real Estate. Kenisha began her real estate career in 2005, as an Entrepreneur managing a Commercial & Residential portfolio for a private investment firm in Arizona. She later transitioned to Commercial brokerage Full Time, as a Tenant Rep with UGL-Equis, who has since merged with Cushman and Wakefield. In the 5-years with the company, she was trained to become a tenacious negotiator for end-users of space. She represented clients such as Diebold, DaVita, the General Service Administration, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Medical users, Office, Industrial, Retail Tenants and many more. While in Arizona, she completed her Master's Degree in Real Estate Development and was later hired by an Atlanta-based Development firm to manage their luxury high-rise condos in Midtown and Buckhead. Her Real Estate acumen, outstanding customer service and work ethic was recognized, and she was asked to join the Real Estate Division at Walmart Corporate Headquarters! There, she was responsible for lease negotiation and Developing New Stores within her portfolio. She also sold Walmart excess land, structured carve-outs, and over the course of 4 different states always seemed to manage about 44 million square feet, which was an excess of $8+ billion of Walmart Real Estate. In March of 2017, Kenisha shifted from the largest Retail and Real Estate Company in the world, and joined the RE/MAX Platinum Access Commercial team in Atlanta Georgia. She now represents Private and Corporate Investors, and uses strategy and financial analysis and to structure real estate deals with optimal outcomes. It was soon after joining the firm, when she completed her CCIM designation; which is one of the highest designations a Commercial Broker can achieve, and is held by less than 6% of all Commercial agents.
