That makes Sail Newport another neighbor. The Newport Country Club is located on Harrison Avenue and is approximately a mile south of the house. It is not far to Bailey's Beach, Gooseberry Beach, or Hazard Beach. Brenton Point is approximately one mile south of the property. Walking to the downtown area is definitely possible. Harrison Avenue is two blocks from the New York Yacht Club and a block from Ida Lewis Yacht Club.
