Developed in the 1930s as a private island paradise by Wallace Groves, an early pioneer in the Bahamas, the 93-acre Little Whale Cay hosts its guests (up to 12) in three secluded sea-view houses: Little Whale House, Peacock and Flamingo, with a total of 7 bedrooms all fully equipped with modern technology and air- conditioning. Additionally, there is a quaint church built of native coral stone and a private lake with flamingos.
The self-sustained private island includes a sea-view infinity pool, tennis court, yoga deck and gym with excellent waters for snorkeling, sailing and fishing.
Also included is its’ own private 2,000 ft. paved landing strip, easily accessible by plane from Florida or Nassau. Completely self-sufficient, it has a deep-water marina and spectacular white sandy beaches. The Island is also accessible by boat or seaplane. Bahamas custom clearance is on Chub Cay, a five-minute flight from Little Whale Cay‘s private landing strip or a short boat ride.
